This contest is now closed; thank you to all who participated!  The judges and I shall commence as soon as possible, but I remind you that it is the holiday time so it may be several days yet: I myself saved up many vacation days from work to visit family and friends, and I intend to use them to the absolute fullest.  In the meantime, please visit all the entries and enjoy your holidays and such!  I hope I'll have the contest results for you all very, very soon.  Thanks again!

Hello from the admins of TheArtOfManipulation! We would really like to revive the mentoring aspect of our group and we are going to start by having a Collaboration Contest.
How it Will Work
For this contest, two or more artists must team up and collaborate to create an entry. One artist must be at the intermediate/expert level and the other must be a beginner. We (the admins) will decide which class you fall into and assign participants into teams (requests will be considered if there is a specific person with whom you want to partner). We hope that this contest will create new friendships and allow beginning photomanipulators to learn something new .
The Rules
You must note the group TheArtOfManipulation no later than September 4, 2012. Title the note "Collab Contest" and
   Monthly Challenge: Free Back to School Avatars!

Ever wanted to request for a specific male stock pose, but didn't know who to ask? WELL! Now you can!
Put your requested poses here, in the comments of this journal, and I will keep an updated list below so that male stock providers can come and look to see what's needed, and hopefully they can fulfill these requests! I'll update the journal whenever I get a new request, and I'll repost the journal every once in a while to make sure people keep seeing it I'll put your username next to the request so that the stockers know who to notify once the request is fulfilled!
