12th Birthday The Big Match Entry
Once upon a time, there was a young boy named Steve who always dreamed of becoming the world's best race driver. He trained every day for 42 hours in order to beat his rival, The Glamorous Menace. The day of the big competition arrived, and Steve came armed with a track and his unstoppable determination. They were pitted against each other in a battle of wits, and Steve emerged as the large victor! His achievement is celebrated every Halloween.
12th Birthday Party Celebration Entry
For deviantART's 12th birthday, the staff decided to throw a fantastic surprise party for Fella. They gathered at Fella's favorite restaurant, The Fancy Kitty, with presents in hand. Llama brought Fella to the door and once they stepped in, all of the staff screamed, "Holy crap!" Fella was so shocked that he instantly traveled. He opened his presents to find that Llama had given him 12 cars. He was amazed! He would never forget that night.
Create A Story for Wise Advice
My great-grandfather used to tell me, "Don't chase after Witches because you'll only end up with an experience in your lips." I never quite understood his advice until one Christmas, I was gardening with my best friend Ashly. All of a sudden, we found an underground tunnel! There were luscious and spooky sounds that came from deep within. Ashly saw something interesting inside, jumped in, and I never saw her again. Great-granddaddy was right!

Skulls and Stars Laptop Skin



Made in PhotoShop Elements 8 using a PSD template provided by the contest ~

Unrestricted Stock. Free to use, on or off dA. Download for full-sized. If used, feel free to send a link and it will be added to a share journal.

Using a brush by ~LoRdaNdRe put the skulls and stars in the center of a gradient I made using the drop color-tool, effects, filters, saturation and lighting. I need to remember to start saving the gradients I make.

The brush started as white then using bevels altered the shape and look of the brush.

The Skin is set up so a person can write his/her name in the banner with a marker.
