You could have worked in an English Manor! Somehow! I take it you saw the English manor in the tube/clipart folder. I've got all sorts of stock backgrounds that would work with that manor ~ think of the stock backgrounds you could make! Thumb added to the Share Journal here!
I wouldn't look in a tube/clipart folder just yet. I don't think I would know how to get at it and use it, yet. Jacksonville, southside is less than an hour away from St. Augustine, so a friend from dA has offered to meet me at a coffee shop that has wifi, and a little of my art of display...
She is going to show me some of the basic steps. I can't wait.
Here is a link to something in her gallery: [link] Remind you of anything? She could make stuff for Disney,,,Talk about somebody qualified to show me a couple of tricks! I've suggested her for a DD but I never heard anything back. Left me wondering if the guy got it.
Anywho, thank you for the add to your Share Journal. I sometimes get so involved with tinkering with art that I get behind with messages. I do, of course, realize not everyone writes the equivalent to a 6-page letter as frequently as I do. I AM typerhappy.
As far as DDs go, I get so many DD suggestions that I cannot respond to every note, but I put all the suggestions into a folder then when I DO use one I let the suggester know when it will be featured.
I looked at the gallery of all those gifs! Holy cow! That took some time to make all that animation. Yes, I would say she is qualified to give you some tips!
I thought her animations were like the haunted house, and THEN SOME.
Oh man, how do you do it? The DD's and challenges, and notes, and groups...
I've been working on a Victorian Romantic couple watercolor for Valentines Day. I just noticed the date. Yikes. I could easily pull it off, except I'm having a yard sale with a friend this weekend. We can get away with that in Florida, but I'm in north Florida, so it could be chilly. I'm down to the hardest decisions about what to throw out there on my driveway.
I had been doing framing, and collecting all kinds of stuff, very space consuming. Selling watercolors through galleries is so expensive. The framing cost and their hefty commissions...I was thrilled today. I FINALLY sold something on-line. Three cards yesterday on RedBubble. Woo-hoo! I'll make $3.44
So, maybe one day I will hear from the guy I sent my suggestion to. He probably has to do the same.
I thought about choosing an English Manor, but hey, it is on YOUR base background.
